The Forever Living Global Rally 2017 concludes in Dubai
Dubai - 12 April, 2017: One of the largest and most ambitious events held in Dubai came to a close this week with the culmination of the Forever Living Global Rally 2017. Organised by Arabian Adventures, this ground breaking, multi-venue event saw 12,000 Forever Living Business Owners (FBO) from more than 140 countries visit Dubai in order to celebrate the company’s achievements over the last year.
This year’s Global Rally, the first ever held in the Middle East, took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre and comprised a series of workshops, speeches and VIP dinners across the city, as well as desert safaris and events at Fort Island and the Aquaventure Water Park, with four of the city’s top hotels accommodating the extensive multinational and multi-lingual group – the St Regis, W, JW Marriott Marquis and The Westin Dubai.
The Arabian Adventures, Meetings Incentives and Events team was tasked with managing the operations the landmark event.
Justine Thomas-Butler, Head of Meetings, Incentives and Events for Arabian Adventures said, “When you’re dealing with an event of this magnitude, it’s all about planning and seamless execution. We were lucky enough to experience the event in Johannesburg in 2016, and this provided us with invaluable insight in to some of the logistics. Every possibility had to be considered with such a large event, and we invested considerable time and resources in its planning.”
With the project starting two years ago, the Arabian Adventures Operations and MIE teams worked with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), alongside the police and RTA to ensure the smooth arrival and departure of such a sizeable group, with more than 3000 people on the move at any one time. Additionally the hand-selected drivers for the 100 luxury coaches required practiced repeatedly on alternate routes and contingency plans to cover any eventuality.
